Enrolment
Parents can add their child's name to the Waiting List for extra care days or new enrolment at any time by contacting the Centre Director at their preferred childcare centre.
Priority of enrolment is given according to available space in the Centre and the guidelines set down by the Department of Families and Community ie. a child at risk of serious abuse or neglect; a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy the work test under section 14 of the Family Assistance Act; or any other child - see the Centre Priority of Access Policy for more detail.
Introducing Your Child To The Centre
We like to meet with each family before your child starts to discuss your child's individual needs. It also allows you and your child to meet the staff and become familiar with the environment. We strongly recommend families spend at least one or two mornings at the Centre prior to starting to ease their child's transition from home to Centre.
